Ameson Mesopeel is a professional chemical peeling system aimed to rejuvenate, renew, brighten and soften skin. The peeling system is based on organic acids and divided into 4 stages: preparation, peeling, neutralisation and regeneration.
Ameson Mesopeel is perfect to have on its own or in combination with Medical Microdermabrasion, DermaluxLED phototherapy, DermaPen or Laser Genesis treatments to visibly reduce fine lines & wrinkles, uneven pigment, blackheads, chronic dryness and acne breakouts.
How does Ameson MesoPeel work?
The outer layer of the skin has compacted multiple layers of cells. This layer has a specific and important role to protect against environmental damage, protection of the deeper tissues and prevent dehydration. The layers of cells naturally shed daily and are held together by a type of cellular ‘glue’. This process in youth works at a greater speed but as we age, it slows down. A chemical peel speeds up this process, revealing fresh new cells which give an instant glow!
The AHAs ( alpha hydroxy acids) used in the AMESON MESOPEEL series include mandelic acid, lactic acid, salicylic acid and glycolic acid.
In particular, AHAs:
- Normalise the keratinisation process thus restoring the epidermis’ normal rhythms
- Activate the skin’s rejuvenation process, increasing collagen and elastin production
- Hydrate the skin
- In synergy, enhance the action of other active ingredients
The BHA (beta hydroxy acids) used in the AMESON MESOPEEL is salicylic acid and azelaic acid’s action (AZA).
They act as a keratolytic agent, have a potent exfoliating, anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial action. The white variety of Mesopeel will meet the needs of every client and target a variety of skin types & problems.
FAQ
Each MesoPeel treatment takes approximately 45 minutes.
It is recommended 6 sessions with a minimum interval of 2 weeks between sessions.
All Ameson peels are classed as ‘Very Superficial’ or ‘Superficial Peels and therefore have minimal to no downtime or aftercare, enabling you to continue with your life with the radiant results.
A “zing”, stinging, prickly or itching sensation is felt by most individuals. However depending on your skin’s sensitivity levels you may experience no irritation at all.
Mild facial redness is generally expected after the treatment however this varies from person to person. Most people are able to return to normal daily activities immediately after the treatment. Application of a breathable make-up will seal the skin and cover any redness after 24 hours. SPF 30 or 50 factor is strongly recommended. Avoid sun exposure and sun-beds, also avoid swimming and saunas for 73h after treatment
